 Dateline Resources Limited (ASX: DTR) is a public company that is listed on the Australian Stock Exchange.

The company derives its name from the location of its Copper Zinc assets located in the northeastern tip of the Vanua Levu, Fiji near the International Date Line.

Since taking control of the permitted Gold Links mine in Colorado, the company has consolidated ownership of additional mining and exploration ground in the region and now owns 100% of two, permitted gold mines and two permitted mills in Colorado.

The company is reviewing its interests in Fiji with a view to identifying a JV partner that would enter a farm-in-agreement to increase the known JORC inferred resource of 4.5 million tonnes @3.9% zinc and 1.2% Copper.

Mark Johnson LLB MBA FAICD AO

Chairman

Mr Johnson has worked in banking and corporate finance for more than forty years. He retired as Deputy Chairman of Macquarie Bank in mid-2007 and now divides his time between work in the private and public sectors.

Mr Johnson is a senior adviser to Gresham Partners, chairman of Alinta Energy, and a director of  Onemarket. Mr Johnson is also chairman of the Australian Financial Centre Taskforce, an Australian Government initiative directed towards ensuring efficiency and competitiveness in the financial services sector. He has been one of the three Australian members of the APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC) since 2002.

Mr Johnson has been a director of a number of public companies, including Macquarie Group, AGL Energy, Pioneer International, GPG Plc, Santos and the Sydney Futures Exchange.

Since 1991, he has been active CEO in both private and ASX listed companies and has provided strategic, commercial and investment leadership to organisations in resources technology sectors.
Today, Stephen is a major shareholder and CEO of Southern Cross Exploration NL (ASX: SXX) and is currently leading Dateline Resources (ASX: DTR) as CEO, building the company into a mid-tier, low-cost producer of gold and silver in the US market to achieve rapid growth.

Anthony John (Tony) Ferguson

Non-Executive Director

Tony Ferguson is an investor and entrepreneur in the energy technology sector, having previously had a long career in investment banking specialising primarily in the mining and natural resources industry.

Tony is the founder and Executive Chairman of Nulux Energy which provides energy saving solutions to commercial and industrial customers and an Executive Director of Ecojoule Energy which develops and manufactures technology to enhance the electricity grid.

Previously Tony spent 25 years as an investment banker, the majority of that time with Macquarie Group. Tony established and led the natural resources corporate finance team at Macquarie and advised on many major mergers, acquisitions and capital raisings in the mining industry. He established Macquarie’s presence in Canada and later led the acquisition of two Canadian investment banks to enhance Macquarie’s equities research, sales and trading capabilities on the ground.

While at Macquarie Tony also headed the Telcos, Media and Technology team, headed Macquarie’s Asian investment banking operations out of Hong Kong and established and led the Asia Resources Fund.

Tony spent three years as Managing Director and Head of Investment Banking at Rothschild Australia and a Global Partner of Rothschild Investment Bank. He also spent three years at UBS in London. Before commencing his investment banking career Tony practiced as an engineer and worked at Rio Tinto’s Woodlawn Mine and engineering consultants Dames & Moore.

Tony holds a Master of Business Administration (Distinction) degree from IMD in Switzerland, a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) degree from Sydney University and a Bachelor of Science from Sydney University majoring in computer science.

Greg Hall

Mr Hall is an exploration geologist with over 40 years of international experience.
From 1988-2005, he was employed by the Placer Dome group of companies, serving as Chief Geologist world-wide, during the last five years he was there.

 Placer Dome was later acquired by Barrick Gold Corporation in early 2006.

 Over the course of his illustrious career, Mr Hall had a senior role in the discoveries of both Gold Field’s Granny Smith mine and Rio Tinto’s Yandi iron ore mine. In addition, he took part in the discoveries of Keringal and Wallaby in Australia’s Eastern Goldfields, as well as the definition of AngloGold Ashanti’s Sunrise gold mine.

Mr Hall holds a Bachelor of Applied Science from the University of New South Wales, Australia.

Leonard Karr

Onsite Chief Geologist

39 years of exploration and mining experience on five continents, roles included Chief Mine Geologist at the London Mine and Project Geologist at Lihir. Subsequently, Mr Karr worked as a consulting exploration geologist, project manager and VP of Exploration for a variety of companies including Placer Dome and Orvana Resources. His exploration experience covers the spectrum of mine site to regional scale programs and includes the design, budgeting and implementation of these programs. Mr Karr has an MSc in Geology from Colorado State University and a BSc in Geological Engineering from Michigan Technological University. He is a Certified Professional Geologist with the American Institute of Professional Geologists and a Qualified Person under NI 43-101.
